Crown lands Auction sale sign for Glen Davis on Saturday, 12th March 1940. Auctioneers Richardson and Wrench. It had notes and terms of sale displayed on the sign. It also displayed Glen Davis town plan, designed by A Cooke of the State Works and Local Government department.

Commemorative stone with the words “This plaque is to commemorate the lives of the men, women and children who lived in Glen Davis during the operational years from 1939 to 1952. In 1950 the population had reached 1800. “When we come back to this valley, we feel like we have come home.” Thank you to all those that assisted in establishing this monument which was unveiled at the Glen Davis Reunion on 4th October 2009.
